The Bosphorus by boat
The city seen from the place where it makes sense: the water between the two continents.
About this tour
From water level you see the palaces, the wooden yalı houses, the two fortresses and the three bridges in the order the city grew. It is also the only angle from which the split between Europe and Asia stops being a phrase and becomes a distance you can measure by eye.
We take the public ferry when the timetable allows — it is what locals use, tea included — and a private boat when the group would rather stop where it likes.
