Eight days in Türkiye
Three regions, two domestic flights, and no night spent travelling.
Days 1–4 — Istanbul. Historic centre, bazaars, the Bosphorus and the Asian side.
Days 5–6 — Cappadocia. An early flight. Valleys and rock churches on the first day, an underground city and Ihlara on the second.
Days 7–8 — Ephesus and Pamukkale. Fly to İzmir or Denizli. Ephesus with the Terrace Houses, and Pamukkale at first light before the flight back.
Domestic flights in Türkiye are short and frequent, but Istanbul's airports are a long way from the centre. Every change of region costs half a morning — that arithmetic is already inside this plan.
